City vs Nature

A dense forest of Scots Pine and Douglas Fir stands alongside the Tate when viewed from the river. The relationship of the man-made, geometric volume to the adjacent volume of dense evergreen foliage is a direct challenge. The proposal celebrates the clash of city and nature and questions our perceptions of urban gardens- or tree urbanism.
