Supermarket

Three different programmatic proposals were 'tested' in the proposed architecture. One proposal imagines a supermarket, so close to the Tate and inhabiting these timber halls. The social implications of this proximity were fascinating: would Tescos invite artists to 'curate' their shelves? Would the Tate begin to mass-produce consumable art for sale?
