Open space at the edge of water

This vacant space is unique in its size and spatial qualities - openness and horizontality of landscape, softness and hardness of the land, and time between past and present.

To keep these special qualities it is proposed that the site is kept open as a public space. Three clusters of buildings are scattered over the landscape.

The building clusters are designed to have smaller open spaces within and between them.

In the end 4 different scales of open space form relationships at city scale, landscape scale, building scale and room scale to make a city ensemble in Pontoon Dock.
