Kings Cross Granary Complex- Backward and Forward
With an eye on the new masterplan for Kings Cross, and the Granary building being once again at its heart, this listed building has to simultaneously stand for the historic significance of the site, and its envisaged reuse as a vital centre of a new piece of the city.
A close investigation of the building’s historic, and future, context thus became the drivers for an architectural proposal that sought to not only revitalise this once vibrant hub, but illuminate its truly unique qualities.
