the urban carpet, public realm idea

In order to give towers closer relationship, the idea of urban carpet is proposed. The image of a carpet markets in Tunis shows that all carpets are different each other but none of them is distinguished from others because those are basically all different and also they look as a one carpet because they made a group. In a group, one carpet is not a single one any more but it is a part of a group which doesn’t have any border. This carpet idea can reflex and also strengthen the identity of Peckham which consists of a lot of diversity. Thanks to its multiformity and borderless ness it could be flexibly extended for any needs just by putting another next to existing one.
