one room, space concept

The floor size of proposed timber towers are approx. 10~12m sq. and the exclusive using areas except staircases and lifts are approx. 10m X 8m sized. This size is enough to accommodate minimum unit of program such as an office room, a shop and a restaurant. In this term, each floor of towers comprises only one room in order to maximize flexibility of space.

As to the internal material, all surfaces are lined of timber boards except concrete core part so as to present the clarity of construction methods and material. This idea will clarify the identity of one room as one space more strongly.

As to opening to outside, a window pattern which has the variation of size and position on the wall is preferred rather than equally divided. It enables each window to frame its own view such as to the station, to the park and to the sky. This variation of visual communication and lights can give more variety to the one room space.
